In a modern heating or cooling system, a partial flow filter or a partial flow filter unit is essential. Contaminants in the heating water cause poor heat transfer, resulting in energy loss. The contamination also has a negative influence on the pipes, seals and pumps. In addition, parts of the heating system can be adversely affected by a bad or malfunctioning water flow.
The Presscon partial flow filters are supplied as standard with one or more powerful magnets for capturing magnetite particles and filter bags. The partial flow filter is also equipped with manometers to measure and visualize the degree of contamination in the filter.
Each Presscon filter unit is supplied on a frame and consists of the following components:
- one centrifugal pump;
- one or more partial flow filters provided with filter bags, neonodium magnets and manometers;
- Pipework including flanges and butterfly valves
